At the restaurant entrance on Middle Road. Book the ride back before you go, with a pickup time that suits your reservation, and your driver will be waiting when you come out. If you would rather decide on the night, give us at least an hour's notice.

How much is a taxi to The Waterlot Inn?

Fares are based on the measured route and your passenger count, and start from $31 for short trips. Enter your pickup address, date and time on the form for a fixed quote; night and public-holiday surcharges are already included in the price shown, and there is no Sunday surcharge.

How do I time the pickup for a reservation?

Leave the time field on "Arrive By" and enter your reservation time. We work back from the measured drive time, with a 20% margin, and set the pickup for you. The pickup time shows on the form before you book.

How far ahead do I need to book?

At least one hour before pickup. Booking the day before gives a driver time to plan around your trip, which matters most for late evenings and for pickups far from Hamilton.

Can I book the ride back from the Waterlot too?

Yes. Switch the form to "From the Waterlot", enter where you're going, and book it as a second trip. Each leg is its own booking with its own confirmation, so you can book the return later if your plans are still open.

Can I book a trip to the airport on this page?

No. Trips to or from L.F. Wade International Airport are airport transfers, which include flight tracking: book those from the main booking form.

Getting to the Waterlot

The Waterlot Inn is a waterfront steakhouse on Jew's Bay in Southampton Parish, with a history going back to 1670, when it was a trading post at the head of the bay. It sits on Middle Road at the foot of the Fairmont Southampton estate, on the Great Sound side of the island, with its own dock and a terrace over the water.

It is a dinner destination, and most guests come from the South Shore hotels in Southampton and Warwick, a few minutes away, or from the City of Hamilton, around 20 minutes by road along Middle Road. From the East End resorts allow about half an hour. Your driver drops you at the restaurant entrance on Middle Road, and the ride back is booked the same way, with the pickup at the door at the time you choose.

Bermuda has no Uber or Lyft, and flagging a taxi outside Hamilton can mean a long wait. A pre-booked trip gives you a fixed fare and a licensed driver at your hotel at the time you chose, with nothing to pay in the car, and the same for the ride back from the restaurant.
