Please read these Terms of Service carefully before booking a transfer with Beam Studios LLC, doing business as Bermuda Transfers (“Bermuda Transfers,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By completing a booking through our website at www.bermudatransfers.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. The Service
Bermuda Transfers provides pre-booked, private airport transfer services between L.F. Wade International Airport and accommodation addresses across Bermuda. Our service includes:
- A vetted local driver assigned to your booking
- Real-time flight tracking to accommodate delays
- Driver meet-and-greet at the arrivals hall with a name sign
- Fixed-price fares confirmed at the time of booking
- Instant booking confirmation by email
2. Booking and Payment
All bookings must be made in advance through our website. Payment is collected in full at the time of booking via our secure payment processor. Prices shown are flat rates inclusive of all fees and are confirmed before checkout. We accept major credit and debit cards.
Your booking is confirmed when you receive a confirmation email. We recommend you check your spam folder if you do not receive a confirmation within 15 minutes of booking.
3. Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your booking free of charge up to one (1) hour before your scheduled pickup time. To cancel, please use the cancellation link in your confirmation email or contact us directly.
Cancellations made less than one hour before the scheduled pickup may be charged a cancellation fee of up to 100% of the booking value. No-shows (where the driver is dispatched but the passenger cannot be located) will be charged in full.
If we are unable to fulfil your booking due to circumstances within our control, you will receive a full refund within 5–10 business days to the original payment method.
4. Flight Delays and Changes
We monitor your flight in real time using the flight number provided at booking. If your flight is delayed, your driver will be adjusted accordingly at no extra charge, provided:
- A valid flight number was entered at the time of booking
- The delay is tracked through official flight data sources
If your flight is cancelled and you need to rebook, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate changes subject to availability. Rebooking is not guaranteed.
5. Your Responsibilities
To help us provide the best service, you agree to:
- Provide accurate pickup details, destination address, and passenger count at the time of booking
- Enter your correct flight number for arrival transfers
- Be ready at the designated meeting point within a reasonable time of your flight landing
- Contact your driver or us immediately if you encounter any difficulty locating your driver
- Ensure all passengers and luggage fit within the vehicle category booked
We are not responsible for missed pickups resulting from incorrect or incomplete booking information provided by the customer.
6. Waiting Time
For arrival transfers, your driver will wait for up to 60 minutes after the flight has landed (as tracked by our system). If you have not made contact within 60 minutes, the driver may leave and the booking will be treated as a no-show.
If you anticipate a delay (e.g., extended customs processing), please contact your driver or our support team as soon as possible.
7. Luggage and Passengers
Each booking specifies the number of passengers and luggage items. Bookings for 5 or more passengers, or with significant luggage, will be assigned a larger vehicle at no extra charge where indicated at the time of booking.
We reserve the right to decline transport of items that are hazardous, oversized beyond the vehicle’s capacity, or otherwise unsuitable for transport.
8. Conduct
We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate a journey without refund in cases where a passenger’s behaviour is abusive, threatening, or endangers the safety of the driver or others.
9. Liability
Bermuda Transfers will take all reasonable steps to provide the service as described. However, we are not liable for:
- Delays caused by road conditions, traffic, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control
- Missed connections, flights, or appointments resulting from such delays
- Loss or damage to personal property unless caused by the gross negligence of our driver
Our liability to you in connection with any booking is limited to the value of that booking.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Bermuda. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bermuda.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Your continued use of our service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
